Bipasha Basu is all smiles these days, what with the amount of appreciation and encouragement she has received from the media, critics and other film stars for her great performance in Bachna Ae haseeno, opposite newbie Ranbir Kapoor. The leg some lass has apparently performed to such an extent that she clearly overshadows her co stars, Manisha Lammba and Deepika Padukone, thus proving again that she is senior when it comes to acting ! According to Bips, she took the role of Radhika only because she felt she could relate to the particular character easily, and the other fact that the film was more of a romantic comedy. 

Bipasha Basu, Bollywood screen siren has come out openly at critics for referring to her as one of the older artistes on the sets of her latest upcoming flick, Bachna Ae Haseeno. Bipasha basu apparently has a thing for age, because it doesn’t look like she’s accepting the fact! And the fact is that she was the oldest one around the sets! Her co stars in the movie, Ranbir Kapoor, Manisha Lammba and Deepika Padukone, are allhave immense glamour and are famous, but nonetheless are newbies as far as the film industry is concerned. Bipasha for now, is just glad that people have appreciated the chemistry between her and Ranbir on screen and perhaps off screen as well! Bipasha actually said that people make her feel that she’s as old as Mr.Bachchan! Big B- are you listening?  

Bipasha Basu, who is riding high on the success of RACE, has quite a number of offers on her plate, from leading directors and high profile banners. Bips however, still maintains that she is a small fry out there in the industry and the only woman to have conquered the male dominated Bollywood, according to her is none other than siren Aishwarya Rai! She maintains that one needs to be at the right place at the right time, or just be blessed with immense luck. According to her, Aishwarya has surpassed all challenges throw at her and surfed to heights that even the Big B or Shah Rukh Khan couldn’t possibly match- striking it big in Hollywood! Ash is probably in cloud nine after this humble and thoughtful statement from Bips. Atleast someone apart from her family appreciates and idolizes her so much!
