Kay Kay Menon, who has proved his mettle when it comes to acting in roles pertaining to different genres, was expected to be nervous, since two of his films, Mumbai Meri Jaan and Maan GayeMughal E Azam, were releasing together. However, Kay Kay seems to be just the cool, calm and confident guy that we see on screen so often. According to Kay Kay, there is no point in being nervous about things like these. He states that both are completely different genres, and though both deal with bomb blasts, one is a serious film, while the other is a downright comedy flick. Kay Kay apparently is happy with both films, though it is clear that Mumbai Meri Jaan was the one to make the swipes at theaters.  Maan Gaye Mughal E Azam clearly didn’t do too great, but Kay Kay has probably learnt from this experience!

Latest movie Hijack had made some big promises, what with talented actors like Shine Ahuja and Eesha Deol starring in the film. However, Hijack seems to fall flat on its face numerous times. The movie lacks anything substantial and the talents have been just wasted. The story is about a plane bound for Amritsar that is hijacked by terrorists that land the plane in Chandigarh and demand for release of its militants in exchange for the lives of the passengers.   
The movie is apparently a number of Hollywood movies stitched together hurriedly in the hope that the movie would gain some recognition for its difference from the normal, song and dance Bollywood script.

Shah Rukh Khan seems extra keen on making his Temptaions tour in Germany a smashing success and has called upon Aamir Khan to be a part of the show and make it a truly grand event.
Aamir and Shah Rukh, though they have never shared screen space together, are sure to add some buzz to the entire event if and when they unite on screen! After the recent fight off with 
Salman khan, Shah Rukh Khan has seen a serioous dearth of talents to help him out in promoting big events like these. He is not even taking a chance this time, after witnessing the ups and downs of the Bachchan family’s Unforgettable Tour. 

It is pretty mucha  known fact that Kangana Ranaut and Jiah Khan are not exactly the best of friends. In a  recent interview, Kangana Ranaut, when asked about how she felt about missing the opportunity to act with Aamir Khan in his film Ghajini, she boldly stated that though she did feel bad for missing the movie, she was glad that Aamir never sent her to acting classes. This obviously was in reference to actor Jiah Khan, whom Aamir Khan asked to attend acting classes before the shooting of his Tamil blockbuster remake Ghajini. Jiah Khan plays a medical student in the movie, and the movie also stars South Indian actor Asin who plays the main lead opposite Aamir in the remake as well. 

There is a lot of hype doing the rounds these days in the media about how Sachin Tendulkar was to star in a scene in Yashwant Ingwale’s religiously themed movie Vignaharta Shri Siddhivinayak. However, though Sachin initially accepted the offer for appearing in the movie, a knee injury, courtesy cricket,  has promptly prevented him from doing it and his doctors have advised him against the decision. Sachin too cited this and dropped out. News is now doing the rounds that Ingyale is trying to get South Indian Rajinikanth to do the guest appearance in the film!

Bollywood finally came together and put up a  good show of solidarity for the flood vitims of Bihar, with big names such as Salman Khan, Shatrughan Sinha, Manoj Bajpai, and neetu Chandra, not to forget politician Sanjay Nirupam.   
With the Bihar floods officially coming out as a national tragedy, Bollywood seems to be pulling its shoe strings together to work towards the benefit of the people of the state. 
They have slated a show for October that is all set to feature actor Salman Khan in it to help raise funds for the flood affected victims in Bihar. The event is being managed by Wizcraft Events and is being done in collaboration with Prayas, headed by Shatrughan Sinha and another NGO that works on Bihar. 

Bipasha Basu is all smiles these days, what with the amount of appreciation and encouragement she has received from the media, critics and other film stars for her great performance in Bachna Ae haseeno, opposite newbie Ranbir Kapoor. The leg some lass has apparently performed to such an extent that she clearly overshadows her co stars, Manisha Lammba and Deepika Padukone, thus proving again that she is senior when it comes to acting ! According to Bips, she took the role of Radhika only because she felt she could relate to the particular character easily, and the other fact that the film was more of a romantic comedy. 

Now that both the families of Deepika and Ranbir Kapoor know about their sizzling relationship thats setting the newspapers on fire, the star couple seem to be more comfortable with each other in public, and have been seen at a lot of places cajoling and cooing with eath other! Ranbir’s mom and dad Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor seeem to be very impressed with Deepika’s talents, abilities, personality and character as well. So much so that Rishi Kapoor has said that he is just waiting for the day when he can address Deepika as his “bahu” ! Both parents feel that Deepika is perfect for Ranbir and that they would make a great couple.
Seems like Deepika is making waves after being tagged Maxim’s World Hot 100 list and she is probably waiting for her next release Chandni Chowk To China starring Akshay Kumar. Life seems so much bigger for Deepika at this rate!

In a recent shooting for a TV show called The Making Of A Superstar, actin king Akshay had a sequence with popular actresses like Tanushree Dutta, Anjana Sukhani, Dia Mirza, Amrita Arora and you bet, Katrina Kaif. After four successive hits featuring the pair Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, film biggies have taken the cue that audiences seem to be most comfortable seeing Akhsay and Kat together on screen ! So Katrina seems to be assured of a front seat with Akshay as far as roles are concerned. Its pretty obvious but this will most probably continue only if the leading pair continue to deliver hits! It seems to be pretty obvious that this is what the poeple are looking forward to , and so thats proabbly what they will be getting as well! The other pretty ladies in the house wil have to take a back seat and pave way for Kat!
